Finally, the day we have all been waiting for has arrived. After a most indulgent sleep-in we got the day started with "the gift game". It is played in two rounds and is VERY exciting. First you throw a dice and if you score a six you can pick a gift from the pile or another player; when the time is up you get to open the gifts you got. During the second round again throw the dice and steal as many gifts as you can. [^_^] Then we got our grubby little hands on the Christmas buffet we spent the entire weekend preparing. It was fantastic as usual. Too bad you always eat for two whole days in one sitting; my stomache ached the rest of the day. All dozy we sat down in front of the fire and started reading rhymes and opening gifts. It took four hours to open them all and after that we were pretty much ready to call it a day. :)
